We dined here last week at it was by far the most delicious meal we have had in such a long time! The staff are lovely and so helpful. We ended up ordering pani puri, masala dosa and chaat all three were delicious but the dosa was our favourite! Everything is a good price and we will definitely be coming back!

Thank you! Glad you all enjoyed
Very delicious, very authentic and a very warm welcome. Seating available and a great atmosphere with lovely music, at the right volume. Everybody here is very friendly and multiple payment options are available. I tried the Vada Pav and Masala Tea and was very satisfied. Good selection of choices on the menu. I would return with pleasure.

I recently visited Aavkar - a pure vegetarian Indian street food restaurant.
I tried the Pani Puri, Dahi Bhalla Chaat, Samosa Chaat, and Masala Dosa, and each dish was packed with fresh, authentic flavours. The Masala dosa came with coconut chutney and sambar which were both delicious, complementing the dosa beautifully. Easily the best Indian food I’ve tried anywhere in the UK!
The restaurant was clean, cosy and comfortable. The service I received was brilliant, lovely and friendly staff.
If you’re a fan of authentic Indian street food or just looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the overall experience were simply outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more from their menu!- Service

Nice cosy place for vegetarian food. The menu has changed compared to before and these prices haven't increased much which is great. Food is fresh and spicy. I definitely recommend you to try. Won't be disappointed.

Today was my first visit, despite for several years my mother and father in law telling me that it's a great restaurant. A lovely meal, service and for a very reasonable price. Perfect 👍

Yummy and hygienic preparations... Have a lot of delicacies on menu including snacks like samosa, spring rolls, noodles and many more that too on affordable price.... Must try is the Dosa which is served on weekends only after 2. Dine-in and take away both available.
One of the best Indian vegetarian spots this side of india!! Masala dosa's are bonkers! Pau bhaji with the buttered toasted buns are awesome! Bhel and pani are also legendary. Pretty much everything they do is good. Real food and real flavours. Vegetarian food made with love and passion.
100% vegetarian. Cheap and cheerful. Lots of flavours bursting in your mouth. They can make it according to your taste if you prefer spicy food.

Best pani puri in Leicester. Not a "proper" restaurant (no table service and limited seating- most people get take out) but functions just fine.
Owner response
Thank you for your review!
They do really nice indian street food. Must try them, prices are really reasonable too.
I tried the Samosa Chaat, Pav Bhaji, and Pani Puri here, and they were incredible! The Pani Puri had the perfect balance of flavors, the Pav Bhaji was buttery and rich, and the Samosa Chaat was deliciously crunchy and tangy. The homely atmosphere and warm service made it even better. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures! I’ll definitely be back for more.
